About The Fairmont Olympic

Constructed in 1924, the Fairmont Olympic Hotel has played a leading role in the history of the area. It is located in the heart of the city's fashionable Rainier Square, and is only 30 minutes from Seattle Tacoma Airport. The hotel experienced a $60 million renovation in the 1980s, has been awarded the AAA Five Diamond Award from 1985 – 2003, and was ranked number one in ‘World's Best Hotels Survey’ 2002 in Institutional Investor Magazine. Guests can enjoy a selection of boutiques and stores on the busy arcade level of the hotel, or take advantage of the luxurious leisure facilities on offer, including a swimming pool, fitness centre and spa and salon.

There are extensive leisure facilities based within the health club at the hotel with a well equipped gymnasium. Here you will find everything needed for a full workout with free weights and free hire of exercise clothing, towels etc. The indoor heated swimming pool is located on the second floor of the hotel. The pool facilities are covered by an enclosed solarium that is opened during the summer months. There is also a spa whirlpool. Massage treatments, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sport massage, are available at the Health Club seven days a week. Massages can be taken in private therapy rooms or in guest rooms. With four luxurious restaurants at the Fairmont Olympic you will be spoiled for choice. Impress important clients with an early-morning breakfast meeting at the Georgian, Seattle’s premier dining room, serving north-western cuisine in sublime surroundings. Crystal chandeliers, potted palms, and rich fabrics make the Georgian the grandest in town. For intimate occasions, there is a secluded private dining room seating up to 12 people.
