Our websites

Great Hotels Organisation's websites - www.ghotw.com and www.shotw.com - generate more traffic than those of any other hotel alliance in the market. Our member-hotels each have a unique mini-site full of relevant information to attract specific markets. Each mini-site is optimised to ensure consumers using search engines will find it above the competition.

Great Hotels agent network

This programme profiles your hotel for hundreds of niche tour operators and travel agents who otherwise would not have heard of your property. Hotels submit FIT rates and leisure group rates into our technology platform, which can then be accessed and booked by these specialist agents.

Website booking engine

Great Hotels Organisation has developed a booking tool which allows guests to book directly on your own website. This booking engine, part of evolution's suite of e-commerce tools, is revolutionary in design, functionality and usability. Its unique design means that you can load special packages and promotional rates that appeal to leisure travellers. Guests also have the opportunity to book additional add-ons (such as chocolates on arrival, flowers, transfers) and activities (for example spa treatments, golf tee times or restaurant reservations) at the time of booking.

IDS connectivity

As well as connecting your hotel to the GDS, Great Hotels Organisation will distribute your hotel's inventory to over 1,700 hotel booking websites such as Expedia, Travelocity, Lastminute, Orbitz, Opodo and many more thought the evolution Demand Manager. In addition we have created direct links to many of these websites to allow hotels to manage their net rates through one inventory source. This allows our hotels to receive a higher ranking in these sites than their competitors.

Call centre and travel specialists

We operate call centres to take reservations from guests who wish to discuss their plans with someone directly. We also have a team of luxury travel advisors who work with consumers to ensure their holiday or honeymoon meets their exact requirements.

GDS connectivity

evolution provides hotels with a leading system to connect directly to the world's major GDS (Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus and Worldspan). This means that our member hotels can be booked by over 600,000 travel agents worldwide.
