Things to do in Elounda

Crete is a land of astonishing natural diversity where many civilisations and traditions merge. A combination of mountains, lush plains and unspoilt fishing villages sit side by side with the graceful Venetian towns of Chania and Rethimnon. Aghios Nikolaos, located 12 kms from the hotel, is a charming town lying on the dramatic Voulismeni Lake, which boasts cafés, tavernas and fishing boats. In comparison, Elounda is smaller and more relaxed. Here, the harbour shelters fishing boats, which run out to Spinalonga isle with its rich history, guaranteed to charm visitors.
